Understanding Cycle Chic

Cycle Chic is the generic term used to describe when people cycling in regular fashionable clothes, and is the subject of a number of blogs.

Copenhagen Cycle Chic┬áis the original cycle chic website that started in 2006, and regularly features street photography of attractive people – mostly women – riding bikes wearing everyday clothes. The idea has spawned many similar websites based in other parts of the world.

Dublin has yet to launch its own cycle chic website, but there is a Dublin Cycle Chic Flickr Group, and there was a Cycle Chic Fashion Show as part of Bike Week in 2010.
