The Dublin Cycling Campaign are organising a group of cyclists to form part of the Dublin parade. They are only a limited number of places available, but are still looking for volunteers to join in the celebrations.

If you’re interested in taking part in the fun, then you need to let them know as soon as possible. In particular they’re looking for people with unusual bikes – tandems, tricycles, tall bikes, etc – but the type of bike doesn’t matter so much, as long as you agree to dress up colourfully in green, white and orange! They also want the group to be as noisy as possible as well, so bring any bells, horns, whistles, rattles and/or musical instruments that you can safely carry.

To take part, email mirenmaialen or aliraleta (adding @gmail.com to either of those) to secure your place and get more details. And if you can’t join the group yourself on the day, be sure to watch out for them in the parade!
