Irish Cycling Show 2013

The Irish Cycling Show is taking place this coming weekend – 9th/10th March – in the Citywest Hotel Dublin.

The event features loads of different exhibitors representing all flavours of cycling, together with appearances and presentations from professional cyclists.  See the organiser’s facebook page for the latest information about who’ll be there.

Ever since I posted this article, I’ve been debating with myself about whether I’m going to attend the show or not. My concerns surround the fact that it’s based in Citywest, which is not exactly easy to get to by bike (even though they promise free bike parking), and the fact that the official web site doesn’t really have much information (beyond a list of exhibitors) about what will be at the show. In my opinion it’s not been very well promoted, and I suspect it’s more aimed at sports cyclists (not an area that interests me).
