Glorious weather and large turn out for Lunchtime Ride

Yesterday I went along to the Lunchtime Bike Ride, which was organised by Dublin City Council as part of Bike Week and Bike to Work Day.

Cyclists from all over the city gathered in the Grand Canal Dock to join together for a leisurely 30-minute ride through Dublin city centre. The first 500 participants to register also received a free goody-bag.

We were lucky enough to have the best weather Dublin has enjoyed so far this year, with some glorious sunshine – which ensured a high turn out of cyclists and on-lookers.
