Flat Tyre

First thing on a morning, when you’re in a rush to get to work, is not the ideal time to discover you’ve got a flat tyre!

I’m not sure how my back tyre got a puncture, but it was flat as a pancake this morning.  I must have got a slow puncture on my way home last night, which seems like a feasible guess as the Dublin roads were wet and covered in debris from the recent high winds we’ve had.

I had choices: to either abandon all hope of getting to work on time, and fix the puncture straight away; to leave the bike where it was and get a bus or taxi to work; or switch to my second bike.

Luckily I have two bikes, and so I was able to switch over, and leave the puncture to be dealt with this evening when I get home.
